Moisturizers help keep the skin looking and functioning its best. The right moisturizer for your particular skin type will balance the skin. But with allll of the options out there, where to begin? Dry Skin

Look for ingredients like fatty acids, ceramides and cholesterol to support the skin barrier. A cream is best.

Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream – quite nourishing. If you want a double boost of hydration, add the Squalane and Vitamin C Rose Oil. This combo is *chef’s kiss. Biossance frequently has sales. Currently they are offering free shipping and 40 to 50% off sets and duos.

Cicaplast Balm B5 this is definitely my hero product for super dry or compromised skin. If you’re in need of extra hydration particularly post-procedure like a chemical peel, this is a must. It’s frequently sold out, so I buy it in multiples. Also available here.

Normal Skin

Any simple moisturizer like the options below, will work well for normal skin.

Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion And here’s the PM option (The AM contains SPF 30 but you should definitely be applying a separate SPF regardless. I wouldn’t rely on that alone. )You can easily streamline your routine by using the PM in both AM and PM.

Allies of Skin Multinutrient & DIOC Renewing Cream Formulated for oily skin, this moisturizer soothes breakout prone skin, reduces redness and evens skin tone.

Sensitive Skin

Ren Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream this immediately calms, soothes and hydrates. A wonderful staple daily moisturizer. In fact, the entire Evercalm line is phenomenal. Ren is clean and A+ for sensitive skin types. Their tagline, “high performance, clean skincare formulated for sensitive and stressed skin” says it all.

Ren Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm this soothing calms the skin barrier while you sleep. It rehydrates and nourishes. A bit goes a long way.

Cicaplast Balm B5 is a great budget alternative ($14) to the Recovery Balm. As mentioned above, I LOVE this product. Also available at this retailer.
