There are so many cleansers out there, for every skin type and concern. Here are the ones I have reached for the most and why I love them. You’ll find a cleanser for all skin types here.

Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser

A gel to foam formula with Ceramides, this removes the grime from the day without stripping. Works for normal to oily skin. Love this budget cleanser for the whole family.

Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser

Wonderful for normal to dry skin types, this gentle cleanser is formulated with hyaluronic acid and ceramides. Also, this product has THE BEST reviews of any product I have recommended. Ever.

Exfoliating Cleansing Gel PHA 5% + Aloe Vera

This cleansing gel by Typology is so gentle. It contains PHA- Poly Hydroxy Acid which is a gentler form of alpha hydroxy acid. This is a great way to implement chemical exfoliation into your routine. I talk all about chemical exfoliants in this post. My skin feels hydrated after use, never dry. This works well with normal, combination and oily skin types.

Youth To The People Superfood Cleanser

This kale, spinach and green tea cleanser is so yummy. You’ll feel like you’re in a spa like environment when using it. Great for all skin types, my dry skin loves it. Rich gel texture. Honest Gentle Gel Cleanser

This is definitely a skincare staple. It smells lovely and it’s clean. Calendula and Chamomile extracts make it gentle. At $12, this is a phenomenal budget cleanser for sensitive skin.

Youth To The People Superberry Dream Cleansing Balm

This cleansing balm is perfect for your PM double cleanse (use this first, then your Superfood, whichever other cleanser you choose next). It dissolves all traces of oil based sunscreens and long-wear makeup formulas. Also very gentle around the eye area. For all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Farmacy Green Clean

ahhhh, I LOVE this product. This is one I have repurchased quite a few times now. It smells fresh, is hydrating and works perfectly as your PM first cleanse or alone in the AM. Scoop out the product with the included spatula. It’s available in a variety of sizes. I get the jumbo when available. It’s that good. A terrific balm for all skin types, including sensitive or compromised skin.

Cerave Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm

If you’re seeking a more budget friendly cleansing balm, this fits the bill at under $14. Formulated with jojoba oil and ceramides, it’s very hydrating and non-comedogenic- perfect for all skin types.

Lastly, don’t forget about using reusable towels each time you wash your face.

Here is a great option- it’s a pack of bamboo face towels (over 14,000 amazing 5 star reviews) that are actually marketed for baby use. I have repurchased these reusable cotton rounds– these are the perfect size and come in a 16 pack for under $9. They come with a laundry bag- at the end of the week throw them all in the bag and wash on warm- this ensures they won’t disappear amongst the other laundry.
