Apply Your Bronzer In The Shape of a 3

Starting at the hairline, you’ll draw a “3 ” with your big, fluffy brush, on each side of the face, hitting the forehead, cheek and then the jawline. Bring the bronzer down to your neck a bit too, and brush some on the bridge of your nose. Continue to add as you need it. This technique deposits color where the sun would naturally hit it. You’ll look perfectly sun kissed ; )

Only Apply Powder Where You Need It

Using a small brush, even an eyeshadow brush-just tap on powder where you need a little shine control. Powder all over the face is outdated. More luminous, dewy skin yields a vibrant, youthful look.

If you’re concerned about staying power, you can apply a primer (I love this one under my tinted moisturizer) or use a setting spray (this one works impressively well).

Don’t Sleep on Blush

Blush is one of the most underrated products and surprisingly, many people skip it. It’s one of the easiest ways to brighten and add dimension to your face.

This under $9 blush is one of my favorite budget beauty buys ever. The shade Luminoso is a dupe for the Nars blush in Orgasm. I also have it in Dolce Pink. I’m impressed at how pigmented this is for a budget buy.

Use Eye Pencil To Lift Droopy Eyes

Using light strokes with your eyebrow pencil, (this one by Benefit is my absolute fave) emphasize the arch on your brows. It’s amazing how much of a lifting effect this has. Try it! To open up the eye, extend the tail of your eyebrow downward just a tad. Watch my brow application video here
